Over the last month or so I’ve been working on a screen print design for Piney Gir -http://pineygir.com/ – I came up with a few variations to start with before we settled on this particular design. Piney has changed her hair colour recently which is proving to be a problem though so will have to see how we go…. really want to screen print this one though!
I’ve been working on these roughs to submit for the band ‘Howler’ s upcoming UK tour in the new year tonight. I’m hoping to do a tour poster for them, but we’ll see how things go! They’ve been signed to Rough Trade in the UK and have only released one ep so far with an album due out in January. If you like The Strokes, Adam Green, etc then these could be worth a listen. Idea 1 is my favourite so far with no. 2 a close second. http://www.howlerband.com/
I’ve been working on this design for a screen printed poster over the last few weeks. I looked at alot of tattoo designs particularly looking at Rockabilly design. I’m planning to make this into a limited edition print run of about 50 in the next week or so. I’m also thinking of exhibiting in Oxfordshire Art Weeks next year, need to get on and find a venue though if thats going to happen!
