Friday night I had the privilege of a couple of guest passes for 2000 Trees Festival as I’d made them some posters for their merchandising. Saw the Futureheads who were great. Weather was awful but that didn’t stop anybody! Not seen that amount of mud since Glastonbury 2005!

This last week I have been working with Norweigen band Katzenjammer. They have been doing really well recntly and are slowly building a following in the UK. The poster I have produced is for their gig at the Opera in Oslo on the 15th of September 2012 – tickets availablehere :

I designed the background to the poster and put it all together whereas the drawing of the band has been drawn by Sol from the band. Its been a while since I’ve worked in this style but nice to get back to it!

A week or so ago I was asked to be part of the pitch for t-shirts and posters for Muse. They have a new single out in conjunction with the Olympics and a new album with a UK and European tour in the Autumn. The brief was to make something quite fashion orientated. Sadly my design ideas weren’t picked but I thought I’d share them here, it was great to be asked though at least!

2000 Trees Festival takes place nexct week from the 12th to the 14th of July. They’ve got some great bands playing over the weekend including a rare appearance of 100 Reasons which should be amazing. They are doing some pre festival sales of the poster I have done for them here :
