I am now the proud owner of some new mugs! Greenbelt Festival used my design on their mugs this year as well as t-shirts and a beanie hat. All very nice! Also saw the very fantastic Black Rebel Motorcycle Club who headlined Greeneblt on the Sunday night. Rock and Roll!
At Wychwwod Festival this year I designed and made some signage for some of the bars and the healing gardens. I’m reasonably pleased with them as it was my first time of working with a production company to get them in place. Hopefully I will do some more of this next year for Wychwood to add to the site vibe!
Back in June I was asked to submit proposals for t-shirt designs for GreenBelt Festival. It’s Greenbelt’s 40th anniversary this year so I was pleased to be asked to submit – particularly as I used to go to the festival alot in my youth! The brief was to come up with a ‘classic’ t-shirt design that encompassed the spirit of the festival. I used designs from previous festivals to create a design that celebrated their 40 years, apparently they are using my design on t-shirts and mugs this year! The festival takes place this weekend. http://www.greenbelt.org.uk
Had a great weekend working at the Wychwood Festival in Cheltenham over the last few days. I designed this print in a limited edition of 50 to celebrate the festival. Next year is their 1oth anniversary, you can buy early bird tickets at amazing prices for the next few days at http://www.wychwoodfestival.com This weekend they had the amazing Public Service Broadcasting, Lucy Rose, The Wedding Present and Caravan Palace.
I also designed a bag for them this year :
I was having a bit of a clear out the other day and came across this painting I did for The Wychwood Festival as a proposal in 2010. Haven’t worked like this for a long time now and had forgotten how much I liked painting. Must do some more paintings!
The line up for this years’ festival is coming together currently. Have a look here : http://www.wychwoodfestival.com.
A couple of shots of James at Wychwood Festival from the other week and a better shot of the sign I made for the main stage!
Last week I was asked to make a some branding fro the mainstage at Wychwood festival this year. I’ve used the same design as on the t-shirts and tried to keep it as clear and crisp as possible. Have spent the last couple of days painting it up. Will be on site tomorrow to work with the carpenter to put it up on the stage!
