I am now the proud owner of some new mugs! Greenbelt Festival used my design on their mugs this year as well as t-shirts and a beanie hat. All very nice! Also saw the very fantastic Black Rebel Motorcycle Club who headlined Greeneblt on the Sunday night. Rock and Roll!
I’ve just completed work on a run of posters for Amy MacDonald. the Scottish singer with the big voice. Her tour starts on Friday the 1st of March at Symphony Hall in Birmingham and ends at Colston Hall in Bristol on the 13th of March. I’ve designed and printed a limited run of 250 posters for the tour which are all signed and numbered. They will be available at the merch and I am told a limited number will be in Amy’s shop on line.
The Cribs tour posters are going well apparently at the venues. There are some to buy here in their webstore. I may well be printing up another edition tomorrow.
The Vaccines started their European tour on Wednesday night in Amsterdam. They will be selling the posters I made for them at the venues or you can buy one here, just follow the link!
I’ve been working with The Vaccines over the last few weeks on a new print for their upcoming tour for new album ‘Come of Age’. I’ve made a limited run of 200 prints which will be on sale at venues on the tour which starts in Amsterdam on the 17th of October! Each print will be signed and numbered by my own fair hand!
Last week I designed a set of posters around the them of love. I wanted to create hand drawn text based illustrations using lyrics from songs as my starting point. I’m in the process of doing some test screen prints today as I am thinking of screen printing them and making them into posters to sell.
Tonight I have been setting up my own screen printing studio in my garage. Its all very basic at the moment and I am still working out a few issues with it as you can see from the prints I have done this evening, not perfect yet! Hopefully I will get it sorted out so that I don’t have to get up at 4.45am to go and screen print in Oxford!
I’ve been working on this design for a screen printed poster over the last few weeks. I looked at alot of tattoo designs particularly looking at Rockabilly design. I’m planning to make this into a limited edition print run of about 50 in the next week or so. I’m also thinking of exhibiting in Oxfordshire Art Weeks next year, need to get on and find a venue though if thats going to happen!
